Please note, as a Private Institution​​ payment of the school fee is compulsory in terms of the South African Schools Act No 84 of 1996, and the signatories hereto acknowledge and understand that they will both be liable for all school fees whilst their child is enrolled at Amitek Schools.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: PRIMARY AND HIGH SCHOOL

1. FULLY COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM WITH CERTIFICATE OF CONDUCT THAT MUST BE FAXED / E-MAILED  THROUGH FROM CURRENT SCHOOL

2. CHILD’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE

3. TERM SCHOOL REPORT

4. PROOF OF RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS 

5. THREE (3) MONTHS BANK STATEMENTS

6. PROVISIONAL TRANSFER DOCUMENT / TERM 4 REPORT AT END OF YEAR WITH TRANSFER 

7. ID COPY OF PARENT / GUARDIAN

8. ID PHOTO X 1 OF LEARNER

9. CLINIC CARD FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL  APPLICANTS  ONLY

10. ANY REPORTS IF NEEDED (PSYCHOLOGICAL, ACADEMICS, SPORT AND BEHAVIOR) .

11. APPLICATION  FORM FEE OF R200

ACADEMIC PLACEMENT OF LEARNERS AT AMITEK SCHOOLS 

​The placement of each learner will be determined based on their academic standing.​

RELIGION:

While the school upholds its Christian ethos and character, it welcomes individuals of all religious backgrounds and promotes an environment of religious tolerance.

RULES:
Parents, learners and teachers are all expected to adhere to a Code of Conduct and School Rules, which will be mutually agreed upon and signed by representatives from each party.

​ADMISSION:

Confirmation of admission to Amitek Schools will be provided in the form of a letter from the Principal, notification via sms to the number provided during application.

​ADMISSION PROCEDURES:
The Amitek schools retains the right to verify the accuracy of all information provided in the application. Should any fraudulent documents be submitted, the school reserves the right to press criminal charges for fraud against any involved party.

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION 
According to Section 6(2) of the South African Schools Act (SASA), the Governing Body of a public school has the authority to determine the school's language policy. The Governing Body of Amitek Schools has established that English will be the sole medium of instruction at the school.

CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE AT AMITEK SCHOOLS 

School Rules and Regulations:
All learners enrolled at Amitek Schools must comply with the school’s Code of Conduct and its Rules.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARENT / LEGAL GUARDIAN: 
The parent or legal guardian is required to:

1. Notify the school promptly of any changes to the learner's address or contact information.

2. Inform the school if any infectious, communicable, or contagious disease occurs within the learner's household.

3. Ensure the learner adheres to the Code of Conduct and the school’s rules.

4. Respect the traditions, values, and ethos of the school.

5. Ensure that the learner attends school regularly and arrives on time each day, unless there is a verifiable reason for absence due to illness.

NO CASH IS HANDLED AT ALL AMITEK SCHOOLS. ALL PAYMENTS SHOULD BE MADE INTO RESPECTIVE SCHOOL BANK ACCOUNT. SHOULD A STUDENT MAKE A CASH PAYMENT AT AMITEK SCHOOLS OFFICES OR TO ANY INDIVIDUAL WORKING AT AMITEK SCHOOLS, THE SCHOOL WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS.
